What the add-on does

Slides To Video helps users convert Google Slides presentations into MP4 videos or GIFs. To perform this function, the add-on needs limited access to the active presentation, selected export settings, optional audio uploaded by the user, and account information needed to identify the user and return the generated result.

Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service:

• Google account information, such as your email address and basic profile information, to identify your account and render jobs.
• Presentation metadata, such as presentation ID, presentation name, slide count, selected slide timing, output format, and render job ID.
• Presentation content needed for conversion, such as slide content or exported slide files, when you start a render job.
• Optional files you provide, such as background music uploaded for a slideshow video.
• Generated files, such as MP4 videos, GIFs, preview images, and temporary processing files.
• Operational data, such as backend logs, request timestamps, error messages, and status information used to provide support and troubleshoot failures.
• Website analytics data, such as pages visited and approximate usage metrics, if analytics are enabled on the website.

Google API scopes and how we use them

The add-on requests Google API scopes only for app functionality:

• Google Slides presentation access: used to read the active presentation and prepare it for conversion.
• Drive file access: used only for files created, opened, or selected through the add-on workflow when needed for conversion and file handling.
• User email and profile: used to associate render jobs and results with the requesting user.
• External request access: used to communicate with Slides To Video backend services that perform rendering and status retrieval.
• Container UI access: used to show the add-on sidebar, dialogs, and controls inside Google Slides.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Slides To Video's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data for advertising. We do not use Google user data to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

How we use information

We use collected information to:

• Convert presentations into MP4 videos or GIFs.
• Attach optional background music when requested by the user.
• Return render status and download links.
• Provide support, debug errors, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
• Improve reliability, performance, and user experience.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Sharing and subprocessors

We share data only as needed to operate the service, comply with law, or protect users and the service. Slides To Video uses service providers such as Google services for the add-on platform and authentication, and Amazon Web Services for hosting, storage, rendering infrastructure, and delivery. These providers process data on our behalf for service operation. We do not sell personal information.

Storage, retention, and deletion

Generated files and processing artifacts may be stored temporarily so users can retrieve results and so we can diagnose failures. Operational logs may be retained for security, debugging, and compliance. We aim to retain personal data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. To request deletion of your data or a copy of data associated with your account, contact support@sheetsms.com from the email address used with the add-on.

Security

We use HTTPS and modern cryptography for transmission where supported by the platform. Access to backend systems is limited to authorized service operators and service providers. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect user data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and disclosure.

Children

Slides To Video is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the service, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

International transfers

Data may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate infrastructure. By using Slides To Video, you understand that your information may be processed outside your country of residence, subject to applicable law.
